Welcome to Fox Meadow
Our classrooms. Our culture. Our community.
What we’re about
Fox Meadow Middle School, serving the community since August 2004, is a diverse campus committed to providing a well-rounded curriculum for all students. We welcome all students and firmly believe that every child can succeed, taking action every day to support this belief. Our school culture is built on "Capturing Kids’ Hearts" (CKH), emphasizing meaningful relationships between staff and students as the foundation for academic success.
What we offer
Academics
- Inclusive Classroom Model: We use a co-teaching model to ensure that student support minutes are met directly in the classroom.
- STEM-Integrated Learning: Our academics are enriched through hands-on science and math, using tools such as Eureka Math and Zearn to drive growth in student proficiency.
- Social-Emotional Learning (SEL): Integrated SEL practices help students manage emotions, set goals, and build empathy through programs like STARS and Restorative Circles.
- Restorative Practices: These strategies serve as a foundation for academic achievement and social-emotional learning. In collaboration with educators, our Student Success Center prioritizes relationship-building, self-regulation skills, and opportunities for students to engage in problem-solving.
Extracurriculars - No Fee
- ELEVATE After-School Program: A comprehensive STEM enrichment program featuring:
- High-Tech Projects: Rocketry, Coding, Robotics, 3D Printing, and Cyber Security.
- Space Science: Mars Lander and Heat Shield design challenges.
- Athletics: A full range of middle school sports, including football, volleyball, cross country, girls' soccer, wrestling, and basketball.
- Clubs: Opportunities such as WEB (Where Everybody Belongs), BASH (Band After School Hour), Homework Club, and more.
- Thriving Band Program: An active and successful music program that provides students with performance opportunities.
- Family STEM Nights: Interactive evenings where families engage in hands-on science and technology activities alongside their students.
What makes us stand out
Relationship-Driven: Our focus on the "Capturing Kids’ Hearts" model ensures that every student is known, valued, and supported.
D2 Promise: As part of Harrison School District 2, our students are on a path to the D2 Promise, which covers tuition and fees for up to 60 credits at Pikes Peak State College.
